Apr 28th, 2009 | CASPER, Wyo. -- Police arrested a 28-year-old woman after finding a barrel of cinnamon bear candies in her hotel room that police believe had been stolen from a local restaurant. Officers responded to a 911 call at a hotel room where the woman was staying on Saturday evening. Officers determined that the call had been placed by accident.
However, officers saw the barrel of candies in the room and recognized it as having come from Poor Boys Steak House.
Police said the woman told them that she had gone to the restaurant the day before. She said one of her friends had grabbed the barrel and handed it to her.
The woman was charged on suspicion of possession of stolen property.
