This isn't about being judgemental... this is about taking a look at why there are so many children growing up with problems out there. Not just anyone can parent well... how you live your life and the values that you have DO have a lot to do with bringing up sound children who become productive, emotionally stable adults. Troubled people very often end up raising equally troubled children due to their inability to have a healthy lifestyle themselves. If this pregnancy does end up resulting in a live, healthy birth let's all talk in about 10 years and see who's right.... something tells me it will be those of us who think Ms. Jameson probably doesn't have the necessary "tools" to be a good parent. First of all. I didn't get anything "bad". I am just not as fortunate as all the teenagers out there getting pregnant. But I guess that is a gift too? They are kids themselves.
The point being, yeah I am bitter and I feel I have every right to be. How dare you tell me how I should feel about the situation. If celebrities are out there getting pregnant a dime a dozen, and they encourage other women to experience what they are so lucky to have, then why can't they begin to be selfless, and help women like me in need of something many, many women and myself, have wanted our whole lives. Why don't they begin to get word about people like me in this position and help. Help me pay for IVF, IUI, etc... Allow me to have the same joy that I feel, everyone else has.
I do feel robbed and I always will. I want the same opportunity that you may have, or your mother had, but I will NEVER have that. There are so many people out there that are very selfish and make the decision to NOT have kids because they feel it would ruin their lives. My sister is one of them and that kills me. I see it as them being selfish. I would kill for that opportunity in life.
As far as religion goes? That is a joke in it's self. Just something for people to come together with and obsess about and "CLAIM" it was god. I was raised Mormon, and I haven't gone for 15 years. I carry the same values and morales I was raised with, BUT nothing is certain. Religion is different opinions of what happened thousands of years ago. There is no 1 right religion. I don't believe in organized religion and I would NEVER raise my family in that lifestyle.

A devot Catholic...really??? Does she attend 'adult' masses?? Is there an adult version of the Bible I was unaware of???? I think she skipped a few Bible classes (and verses) As I recall sex before marriage is not accepted by the church. As I was told, sex before marriage is not accepted, but the resulting child is never looked at as a 'bastard' child, or a sin. (((I am Catholic and had a baby when not married. I spoke to the preist about the churched view, sex before marriage=wrong, but children, even conceived out of wed-lock are not looked down upon. The church has high respect for children. And my priest also said that it is better for the parents to marry, even after the birth. Not to wash the sin of sex before marriage away, but it is more stable for the child.))
