Our Mission
Superconductor Week
has a three-fold mission: to advance the goals of our readers by a critical
perspective on low- and high- Tc superconductors and cryogenics; to
promote the industry by spreading information and insight to the broadest
possible audience; and to provide a platform for the free exchange of ideas and
news within the superconductivity community.
The Company
Superconductor Week is published
by Peregrine Communications, a boutique information services company
based in Portland, Oregon. Our vision is to provide products and
services that make your work more effective. We specialize in
information products tailored to industry and company needs, produced
with expertise, analytical skills, and creativity that sets us apart.
We are also pleased to offer consulting services, whether it is to gain
a deeper understanding of your market, brand your produce, position
against the competition, or plan strategically to move your organization
to the next level.

The
Editor
Mark Bitterman has over 15 years of
experience in consulting and management for technology products and
markets. Mark took over as Superconductor Week's third
Executive Editor after consulting to the publication for several years
to expand its editorial scope and readership in Europe and Asia.
He worked most recently as Marketing Manager at ProSoft Technology.
Prior to that he served as President and CEO of Orange Art USA, with
clients such as Schneider Electric, ABB, France Telecom, and Net Value.
Mark has lived and traveled extensively in Europe and North America.

Publisher
Jennifer L.
Turner's career encompasses senior management roles in both
communications and art. As publisher of
Superconductor Week,
Jennifer brings a vision of gaining new subscribers as not only
readers, but as participants in the publication's effort to bring
transparency to the complex and diverse fields, interests, and
industries relating to Superconductivity. Jennifer's background
includes a broad liberal arts education from Reed College (B.A.) and
Sarah Lawrence College (M.A.), and a 10 year career in art history,
including positions at the Frick Art Reference Library in New York,
The Musée
du Chateaux du
Louvre near Paris, France, The Getty Museum in Los Angeles, and The
Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Jennifer still leads a dual
life; while retaining her role as providing overall guidance to the
overall development and operations of Superconductor Week, Jennifer
also leads The Meadow, a
Portland Oregon-based boutique specializing in fine art, gourmet
salt, chocolate, wine, and flowers.

Superconductor Week was founded in 1987, and is published 24
times a year. The newsletter is dedicated to providing timely,
in-depth coverage of superconductivity and related industries. News and
analysis includes the latest technological and business developments,
commercialization strategies, end markets, new products, market
forecasts, opinions from leading experts, funding, patent information,
