*West_Coast_Eagles National AFL Rising Star nominee 2003 }} '''Andrew McDougall''' (born June_29, 1983) is an Australian_rules_footballer in the Australian_Football_League. He was recruited as the number 5 draft pick in the 2000_AFL_Draft from Perth. Andrew made his debut for the West_Coast_Eagles in Round 22, 2002 against North Melbourne. He is much maligned by West Coast supporters as being an underachieving talent (before the 2000 draft he was touted as the number 1 pick). However after some strong performances in the WAFL for his side Perth, (gaining a BOG in Perth's win over ladder leaders South Fremantle) he is maybe due to start living up to his pre draft hype. Played his first game of 2006 against Collingwood in round 16, but was dropped the next week. On Day 4 of the 2006 Trade Week, a deal was struck between the Western Bulldogs and West Coast. Although details have not been finalised and paperwork has not been submitted, the Eagles are expected to receive the Western Bulldogs' second and fourth round picks in exchange for McDougall, and the Eagles own second and fourth round picks. ==External links== *{{Wceplayer|ref=13560}} *{{AflRleague|ref=A/Andrew_McDougall.html}} McDougall, Andrew McDougall, Andrew McDougall, Andrew McDougall, Andrew McDougall, Andrew {{aflbio-stub}}
