[edit] International Audience

Its international outreach is furthered by local representatives. A case in point is Enoch Mogusu of Kisii, Kenya. When there was an evangelistic series in Mwanza, Tanzania, African volunteers were invited to come for training in how to use satellite dishes. Mogusu was concerned about the high cost of these imported dishes, so he went home and designed a much less expensive, but very effective version. He then trained 242 other metalworkers from various African countries, with an estimated 7,000 or more dishes made by them. From there, he went on to establish low power TV stations to broadcast downlinked Hope TV programs on local channels. The Hope Channel chose him to lead out in extending these stations throughout Africa.
