 Printable Fact Sheet

The AFCYBER(P) command is currently in the process of establishing its staff. Details of the composition of the staff including skills, numbers, and location of authorizations will be finalized over the next few months. Once these decisions are made, there will be more specifics announced.

FOR CIVILIANS:
In the interim, applicants may create their resume using the USAJOBS Resume Builder at http://www.USAJOBS.gov/contact.asp. The Air Force Personnel Center will post all external vacancy announcements on this Website. External hires are those not filled within Air Force by current Air Force personnel.

Once an applicant has established a USAJOBS account, the applicant is able to create and store up to five resumes, and submit different resumes for different vacancies on the same day. When an applicant has located a vacancy announcement for which he or she wishes to apply, he or she may apply with one of the resumes stored. An applicant can also receive information about vacancies meeting his or her interests by using the OPM job notification service "Job Search Agents" available through the "My USAJOBS" account.

For additional information on the OPM USAJOBS website, Resume Builder or searching for vacancy announcements using USAJOBS, visit the OPM USAJOBS Website listed above.

For internal Air Force applicants, vacancies will be posted on the AFPC website at http://ask.afpc.randolph.af.mil, Civilian Quick Links, Civilian Job Search, and search by the state where you are interested in employment.

FOR MILITARY:
Officers/enlisted personnel assignment actions will remain in line with current AIr Force Personnel Center assignment policies. Each functional is building a game plan to properly man AFCYBER.

-- Officers (Lt. Col. and below) will fall under the standard officer assignment cycle administered by AFPC.

-- Enlisted personnel should contact their assignment functional at AFPC to check to see if they're eligible to move.

-- The O-6 Group is the office of primary responsibility for managing all O-6 and O-6 selects and chief assignments will be worked by the Chiefs' Group.

Thank you for your interest in the new MAJCOM; however, we ask that you follow your proper chain of command and use currently provided tools on the AFPC website (i.e. ADP, formerly the T-ODP process) to request your desire to fill an AFCYBER Command position.  http://ask.afpc.randolph.af.mil/
