How can we make a search with Words Included in Text?
By using special criteria, we can retrieve articles with great accuracy. These criteria include words and, if needed, logical expressions. The latter are formed using logical operators (AND, OR and NOT) and/or parenthesis ().

The use and meanings of logical operators and parenthesis are presented in the following table.

Operator Symbol Action
AND + Finds only the articles which include all the words which form the criteria. Eg. Greece+Athens retrieves the articles which contain both words.
OR , Finds the articles which include at least one of the words in the criteria. Eg. Greece,Athens retrieves the articles which contain either Greece or Athens. Some of the retrieved articles might contain both of the words.
NOT - Excludes all articles which contain the specified words. Eg. Greece-Athens retreives the articles which contain Greece excluding the ones containing the word Athens.
() Parenthesis can be used to form complex logical expressions in criteria. Eg. (Greece+Athens)+(Omonia,Syntagma) retrieves the articles which contain both Greece and Athens and also contain either Omonia or Syntagma or both.
