March 05, 2009 — Nevada Certified Drinking Water Operator's Forum: The Drinking Water Operator’s Forum supports the protection of human health and the environment through certification of qualified water system operators. NDEP's Bureau of Safe Drinking Water provides support and technical assistance to forum participants.

March 01, 2009 — Nevada's 2006 303(d) Impaired Waters List: Section 303(d) of the Clean Water Act requires each state develop a list of waterbodies that need additional work beyond existing controls to achieve or maintain water quality standards, and submit an updated list to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) every two years. Nevada's 2006 303(d) Impaired Waters List provides a comprehensive inventory of water bodies impaired by all sources. This inventory is the basis for targeting water bodies for watershed-based solutions, and the TMDL process provides an organized framework to develop these solutions.

February 2009 — Greenhouse Gas Report: Nevada Statewide Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory and Projections, 1990-2020: This report is a comprehensive inventory of all greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with activities in Nevada. It includes all six internationally-recognized GHGs covered by the US and other national inventories and presents projections of future GHG emissions. [83 Pages]

October 08 / June 09 — NDEP PCE [Perchloroethylene] Website: NDEP's PCE Website presents information about programs and initiatives being implemented to address management, education and remediation of PCE contamination in Nevada. PCE or Perchloroethylene (also known as Tetrachloroethylene, Tetrachloroethene, PERC or PCE) is a synthetic chemical that is widely used for dry cleaning of fabrics and for metal-degreasing operations. The website also contains specific information about the Maryland Square site in Las Vegas.
