General Tone of Game: Stratejerks
The Gunslingers chose this as their first game, it was first to three, five captures to win a round, carbine start and ghosts were on the map. The ghosts made for some interesting moments, but for the most part, they were just used to be a pain in our collective ass. I only ever saw Bungie use them once, and it was me making a suicide run to get the flag out of their base. I actually managed to get out of the ghost, grab the flag and throw it about ten feet. A moral victory.
The Gunslingers had control of the game from the outset. It wasn't complete dominance, we weren't spawn-camped and we did manage several flag grabs, but they had everything well in hand. They employed a good strategy, when you've got the manpower for it, in which they left consistently left someone on the upper ring of the center. This allowed them to take out any Bungie guys running through the middle and also, once they captured the flag, to have that player drop down and grab it immediately thereafter.
Bungie put up a decent fight against the Gunslingers, but in the end we couldn't effectively counter their strategy with any consistency and they were simply better shots. 3-0. Gunslingers win.

"General Tone of Game: Retarded" -New001
This game was Bungie's choice and we chose to go from the Carbine, arguably the weapon whose potency is most difficult to unlock, to the rocket, whose "potency" is unlocked by firing it within five feet of the target. It was minimum Slayer to ten, which means that everyone on your team needs to get ten kills, the first team to do so wins.
It was obviously a very frantic game, as all rocket games on small maps are. The swords proved to be fun secondary weapons for situations in which both participants of a duel had exhausted both of their rockets. Though by the time you'd busted out the sword, someone had seen or heard the tango and fired a rocket at one or both of the participants, so most epic sword duels were over before they began.
I got my ten kills first and ended up just running under one of the bases and sitting there fore the entire game. Since both of the weapons I carried are one hit kills, it wouldn't have made much sense otherwise. Miraculously, I was able to sit out the rest of the game there and never get killed, and when other guys got their ten they joined me there. Finally we were just waiting on evil otto, who kept dying seconds after spawning, but eventually got his tenth kill.
10-9. Bungie wins. Noteworthy: Were it not for Spaulding007's two betrayals, the Gunslingers would've won about a minute before us.

General Tone of Game: Deceivery
So right before this game started, someone on the Gunslingers said that there was a penalty for putting multiple people in the hill. After the game started there was talk amongst Bungie guys about whether or not that was even an option in Halo 2. Don't forget, a lot of them are busy working on Halo 3 and have become accustomed to it and all of its options. Being rational human beings, assumed that they may have forgotten an option. So we didn't put multiple people in the hill until we realized their score was jumping by six every second when they had everyone in the hill.
By the time we realized their horrible lie of lies, they were already well ahead. By the time we started piling everyone in the hill but it was too little, too late. 5:00 - 3:34. Gunslingers win?
Or do they? In light of this deception, we're letting the readers of Bungie.net decide who really deserves to win that game. CLICK HERE TO VOTE ON THE FIRST EVER "ZEDANE HUMPDAY"
