The rumours have it that those running the tournament is forcing and re-scheduling games to their own advantage. This is so that they will have an easier way to win the final, and always have their best team online.

rumors also have it that some people are sore losers, and even when they go out of their way to mess up a schedule and arrange games on different days than the ones asked tthey still blame it on the admins when losing for playing it on that day.
just check our games, every opponent had their best team available against us and I normally arrange the game on the opponents schedule, just within the week the game needed to be played for the cup:
vs. Verdiend
vs. KiH
vs. Fixed
vs. noPressure
Games were delayed on the WB Semi due to two teams having major problems for the games, I easily could have called forfeits for those games but tried my best to have the cup finishing with no forfeits - The scheduling is fully down to teams within the cup as the last one we ran we schedule for 2 weeks (with more teams in the cup) and finished on time, this has been running more than 3 months and will finish 3 weeks later than hoped.

Its an rtcw tradition to give cup organizers a top seed to make their progress to the final that bit easier :p. The most famous were mindcage in the warleagues cups.
We are carrying on that tradition with glee and I look forward to our forfeit win tonight :).
