So 8Bits just lost in the Lower Bracket of the ET tournament and is some sort of disappointed right now after beating H2K before and not reaching a better place then at CC5. Anyway, after Worm already did it, it's Jere coming over now to talk about his team's performance and some things about the communiy.
What do you think about the latest decisions done by crossfire admins?
Well, I think 'zero toleration' is a good thing, but people gotta get a second chance after a while (a year or so). But if you get busted right before the LAN, I think its normal that you get banned online as well as offline. Altough cvar bans are maybe a bit silly, but you should be carefull with what configs you exec...
How was improving playing with your team over the past online and offline events?
Well, we went with our team from med/+ to our current skill, this took us a year. I think people in ET change clans way too much, if you stay together like us, you get better teamplay and after a while you become a bunch of friends. This is the way to go.
What do you say about your performance?
Before the LAN I thought place 5/6 was our place, but now I'm a little bit disappointed not reaching a higher place. We've beaten h2k, which was great, but then the match against overload came. We lost by less then 10 seconds (2 maps combined), so that
loss was a bit harsch. So we went to the loserbracket where we faced mamut immediately, we played well on goldrush defence, but fucked up our bremen cp defense and thats why we couldnt pull out a decider. Too bad, because I think our performance was worth 4th place.
Sil was very disappointed when I saw him outside and when I first met him this time, I didn't remember him in your team, no clue why though. Are there keyplayers in your team to carry the teamplay/
Worm has been performing amazing, as well online, but even more offline. He gets most damage like every fucking map, that makes our life way more easy. Also siL ins and Jo0f are really good aimers, but they arent as stable as Worm, they have some bad matches too sometimes. And finally me and vaNq are the objective whores, we try to fix everything we possibly can.
Thanks to 8bits for their support and shout out to all who wants one :-)
ye indeed, didn't know you guys were coming for the RTCW tourna
and sorry for chasing you away, but we played 4 matches on them on saturday, and well, we were very very happy about those pc's and monitors so thats why we asked if we could sit there again :P
vs ovr i think you guys deserved a decider so the 1 who won that would a have been a real winner not random luck 2 secs winner, eventho good you lost i won 5E on a bet with felix
