TV.com is a website now owned by CBS Interactive. The service was launched on June 1, 2005 and replaced the popular TV Tome website.

The site covers television and focuses on English-language shows made or broadcast in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and Japan. In addition to episode guides, it includes US-oriented news, reviews, interviews, photos, videos, forums, TV listings, and other features.
The site is a part of the CBS Interactive Entertainment family of websites and shares an account system with some of the other sites in the brand (GameFAQs, GameSpot, MP3.com, and MovieTome). Users maintain a personal profile page and the ability to track shows. Members can contribute to the site by adding information like episode recaps, trivia, cast members, and more.
TV.com provides show descriptions, cast and crew listings, and detailed episode guides for many TV shows. Episode guides may include synopsis information, a complete recap, notes and trivia, quotes, and more. Information is dependent on volunteer contributions so some shows, particularly more recent ones, are extremely detailed while others may have minimal information.
On December 16, 2008, CBS Interactive announced that the site would be redesigned to highlight new features like an HD video gallery and full episode streams. The new TV.com has been compared to Hulu, a commercial-supported video site.
CNET had originally acquired the domain name (among other generic domain names like news.com, radio.com, etc.) in the mid-1990s to host a website for the company's technology-related TV shows. One of these shows was actually titled TV.com; that program, highlighting the best of the Internet for new and casual computer users, aired in U.S. syndication.
