Anime:

Densetsu no Yusha no Densetsu (伝説の勇者の伝説) is a Japanese light novel series that's been announced as an upcomnig anime series. The upcoming issue of Dragon Magazine will confirm that we can expect to see the anime some time in 2010.

Also getting it's own anime will be Kaito Tenshi Twin Angel (快盗天使ツインエンジェル) a pachinko title that already has seen OVA release in 2008.

Finally, a new Fafner series titled "Soukyuu no Fafner (蒼穹のファフナー): Dead Aggressor: Heaven and Earth "  is in the works at Xebec. Not much is known about the new anime, but we'll be keeping watch for any updates. Meanwhile there's a whole new season of anime in January to keep us busy.

Creativity is never far when you have anime and music. Such is the case for a new MAD video on YouTube featuring Hatsune Miku and Nausicaa. Think they don't go together? Just watch.

The big event this weekend is the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) ! It's not entirely about gaming, but everyone knows there's some serious overlap. And who doesn't enjoy drooling over the sneak peaks at what the future electronics have to offer? Check out the coverage on Gizmodo. This weekend was also the date for the Namco 2010 Iron Taiko Drum Challenge, where the best Namco Taiko game players got together to battle it out over a series of competitive rounds. Can you hear the beat?
