Clarification (Feb 18, 9:30AM) – Aerials standing area tickets are VALID

Standing room only general admission tickets for Aerials are still valid – the standing area cancellations that have occurred at Cypress Mountain DO NOT include the Aerials stadium.  The ONLY way to reach Cypress is on the Olympic bus network. Book your ticket at www.OBN2010.com

 

Ticketing (Feb 16) - Vancouver 2010 cancels 'general admission standing room' tickets to snowboard halfpipe, ski cross and snowboard parallel giant slalom events

General admission standing room tickets have been cancelled for Olympic men’s and ladies’ snowboard halfpipe on February 17 and 18; ski cross on February 21 and 23; and snowboard parallel giant slalom on February 26 and 27 at Cypress Mountain. Tickets will be refunded, said the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC). See news release for more information.

 

Schedule Alert (Feb 16, 7:30PM): Men’s super combined and giant slalom competitions at 2010 Olympic Winter Games postponed

The men’s alpine skiing super combined events, originally scheduled for Feb 16, 10:00 am (downhill) and 1:30 pm (slalom), will now take place on Sunday, February 21 at 9:30 am (downhill) and 12:30 pm (slalom). The men’s giant slalom competition, originally scheduled for Sunday, February 21 at 10:00 am and 1:45 pm, will now take place on Tuesday, February 23 at 9:30 am and 1:00 pm.

Schedule (Feb 18, 8:44AM) -Ladies' Alpine Skiing - rescheduled events for Feb 18

The ladies’ alpine skiing super combined competition at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games originally scheduled for 10:00 am (downhill) and 1:00 pm (slalom) Pacific Time on Sunday, February 14 at Whistler Creekside has been rescheduled to take place on Thursday, February 18 at 9:30 am (downhill) and 12:30 pm (slalom). Transportation - There is no taxi access to Cypress Mountain - Feb 14, 3:00pm

Transportation (Feb 12, 3:00PM) - No Olympic transport in Squamish for Metro Vancouver spectators

Remember: spectators from the Metro Vancouver area, including the North Shore, can only access Whistler events via the Olympic bus network departure hubs or private motor-coach services on the day of their sport event.  Services in Squamish are reserved for Squamish residents and their guests.
