Logitech MX Air Mouse
This Mouse Gets More Air than Mighty. Or Jordan.
The MX Air soars onto the scene as arguably the coolest mouse in the history of the universe. Its dual use design allows it to function on flat surfaces like a regular mouse, or wielded in the air like a remote. Well, a remote that can sense gestures and zap input from up to 30 feet away. Artfully designed, its customizable buttons are translucent and glow soft amber - a nice compliment to the mirror black finish. On a desk, the MX Air is more than competent with its 800 dpi laser sensor and lightweight design. But the real fun can be had when the mouse is picked up like a remote. A 2.4GHz wireless receiver trades mouse movements for cursor control making the MX Air perfectly suited for controlling presentations and, ideally, kicking back in a living room with a media center PC.
WIRED Sleek, futuristic styling melds with home theatre décor. Airborne gestures can change volume levels and go back and forward through tracks. Trés chic virtual scroll wheel provides hyper-fast, detailed scrolling, complete with audible clicks.
TIRED One of the priciest mice on the market. A flip of the wrist to move web pages forward and back when surfing the Interwebs would be great, but these gestures only work with media programs.
