 June 9, 2006: David Beckham has topped a gay radio poll of the best looking international soccer stars, just a few days ahead of the start of the World Football Cup 2006 in Germany.
The England captain took 21% of the vote in GaydarRadio's Fantasy World Cup 2006 League survey. It appears the England team are a popular choice for style and looks all round, with five home-grown players making the final 11.
Sweden's Fredrik Ljungber comes second in the poll, followed by Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo. GaydarRadio's sexiest World Cup squad also includes England's Michael Owen, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Thierry Henry (France), Ricardo Kaka from Brazil, Alessandro Nesta (Italy), Argentina's Javier Saviola and England's Theo Walcott.
