We’re long past the point where any piece of intellectual property — movie, play, novel, comic book — might be considered unsuitable or unfeasible for the Broadway stage. But the authorship of “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” is worth noting: Bono and the Edge of the rock band U2.
