The Digital Advertising Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, developing, maintaining and managing accounts to which he/she is assigned with the goal to hit and exceed set advertising sales goals for the online media properties of Here Media brands. This includes identifying and contacting decision makers at both the client and agency and working in tandem with other print and online sales, marketing and promotional staff, as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience with selling digital video / pre-roll.
  • At least 3-5 years online sales experience with background in consumer print ad sales a plus.
  • High degree of knowledge in the online sales platform.
  • Requires advanced skills in negotiating, problem solving decision making, goal setting, prioritizing data interpretation, and marketing knowledge.
  • Work well under pressure and adhere to deadlines and time restraints.

Job Posting Interactive Promotional Designer, New York

The Promotional Designer is responsible for conceiving and designing all marketing and promotional assets for the Here Media portfolio of brands (print, online and broadcast).

Core Responsibilities:

  • Concept, design, and execution of visual materials for integrated, cross-platform promotions
  • Work with marketing to concept and design compelling, cross-platform collateral and mock-ups for RFPs

Professional Requirements:

    The Integrated Marketing Manager plays an integral role in developing and implementing the sales, marketing and promotional strategies for Here Media and its properties in order to drive revenue and win new business. The position combines exceptional “big” idea creation, proposal writing, and multi-platform program execution.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Idea generation and program development: Work with sales and marketing colleagues to develop and execute 360-degree, integrated programs that leverage Here’s print, digital, event, and video assets
    • RFPS: Responsible for responding to RFPs in multiple categories (travel, finance, pharmaceutical, liquor) and executing added value components, including events
    • Presentation development: Work with creative services to create visually-arresting and compelling proposals, presentations, marketing and brand positioning collateral
    • Project/Program management: Responsible for managing the daily workflow process for integrated marketing programs including timelines, budgets, creative executions and follow-up on all deliverables. Act as primary liaison between sales and respective agency/client partners.     Internship Video Production Intern, Los Angeles

    The Video Production internship will expose interns to the full arc of production from conception to shooting and may include hands-on duties ranging from planning and prep, assisting with video taping, running errands, making script copies, light phone duties, carrying equipment on shoots, coordinating schedules, handling props, running video cameras, cue cards, etc.

    The most successful candidates will be proficient with Word and Excel, internet savvy, highly creative, organized, and have good problem-solving and communication skills. Candidates with prior production experience and a career goal in film/video production preferred.

    Internship Editorial New York Los Angeles

    Editorial internships are offered in Los Angeles for The Advocate and New York for Out. Interns will assist with various support projects such as editorial gathering, research, proofing, web site production and other related editorial and administrative tasks. Some writing and editing assignments may be possible, depending upon qualifications, but cannot be guaranteed. Interns will assist the Fashion Director and Market Editor with organizing fashion features, gathering clothing, prepping photo shoots and supporting the fashion department with the administrative effort behind producing the fashion section of each issue.

    Preferred candidates will have a related field of study and a career interest in fashion, photo editing, or other similar industry. Must be able to handle multiple projects and provide efficient and effective administrative support. Excellent personal communication skills are a must.
