I like the photos, although to a French person they are a dead reminder of the Pierre and Gilles style. Let's go for something more daring next time: i'd love to see him attempt a smile!

Unfortunately most of these comments are from other Idol Alum fans who happened to read about this article.. it is so obvious. I would NEVER want to see Adam in jeans and a shirt...sorry that is why Idol went down the tube to start with ..if he chose to wear plaid and jeans then he would have to do hog calls...no thanks. Adam is a great talented person. and these photos are absolutely wonderful.. I am so glad he is not following suit with other past Idols. He is his own person and that is why his fans love him. The photographer did a great job. I will take this look over "OL MC DONALD had a farm" anyday.

The picture with the red swirling background is truly exquisite. The man was born to be photographed.

Probably the one he picked for the cover was one of my least favorite. I like the one's where he seems to be a little more playful with the gender roles, and it's more ambiguous and androgonous. The one he actually used was just so farm on the fem end of the spectrum, you lose that challenging aspect of him embracig both identities.

@Gregg If there is anyone who can have the luxury of being too gay are gay people themselves. You click on a gay website, on an article of a super gay singer, and yet you pretend amazement as if your virginal eyes were burned by the amount of gayness you saw. Are you that clueless or just a bored troll?

I like him. He's interesting Some of the looks are campy, but that was a huge part of glam in the 70s. This reminds me of the movie Velvet Goldmine, especially that picture with the red blur. I think people either understand glam's appeal or they just don't. If I saw him in a T-shirt and jeans without makeup, it would take a lot longer for me to notice him.

Love the album - the pics are a little much -perhaps trying to hard. The glam look is too forced and silly to be taken seriously. Adam could have just dressed in jeans and a tee and got the same look across. I love you Adam but some of the pics just don't translate as glam - just ham (and cheeeeese)

I'm pretty disturbed by comments on an article on this website referring to anyone as "too gay." Either there are some industrious trolls, or this is yet another reminder that we have A LOT of internalized homophobia in this community. These photos are striking, campy, and fun.

I thought Adam was really cute the day he auditioned for Idol, in jeans and a t shirt, no makeup. I really don't like all the glam stuff personally, but that's just me.
