Carrier's Scheduled Delivery for Heavy or Bulky ItemsCommon carriers offer Scheduled Delivery shipping via www.amazon.com for certain heavy or bulky items to select customer destinations during checkout. If an item is eligible for Scheduled Delivery, you'll see the option to select a delivery ZIP code on the detail page for the item. Carrier delivery date availability may vary by region. To use this shipping option, enter your ZIP code into the "Schedule a delivery" box on the item's detail page. If delivery times are available, you'll be able to choose the delivery date that works best for you. Carrier delivery dates do not affect shipping charges. Note that Scheduled Delivery service is not available for P.O. Box addresses, APO/FPO addresses, or protectorates. If you need to change a scheduled delivery after your order has been placed, you can do so by contacting the common carrier. Here's how:
If you don't see a delivery time offered by the carrier for your ZIP code, you can still order the item with Standard shipping--just uncheck the "Schedule a delivery" box and add the product to your cart and proceed through checkout as usual. The carrier will get in touch with you to arrange a delivery date and time after the order is shipped.
