From stargazing to atlatl contests and guided hikes to buffalo feasts, Montana state parks feature entertaining programs and events for all ages. It's always great to visit a Montana State Park, but a special event or interpretive program is sure to enhance your experience. From cultural and community events to speaker series and festivals, Montana State Parks are a place where you can:

School Programs

State parks are an ideal place for a school field trip! Students can experience Native American culture or Montana history firsthand. Parks are also great places to study natural sciences such as botany and geology. Interpreters are available at many parks to provide programs geared to your curriculum needs.
