People are saying:

It is insane for the AGU (American Geophysical Union) to do this. It destroys their reputation as a professional organization of scientists. It just lends more credence to the Left's obvious politicialization of "Science" and their use of politicized "Science" as a tool for gaining political power.

Love us

While I usually disagree with a slight majority of LA Times articles, my opposition is outweighed by the appreciation I have for the tremendous FREE SPEECH FORUM which these comment sections provided for most every article. That is in the greatest American tradition of free speech & is even MORE notable because of the fact that the only two DAILY newspapers (print or website versions) in the US with a larger audience than the LA Times (NY Times & Washington Post) do NOT offer similar forums/message boards/comment sections.

Hate us

I hate the frivolous meandering editorial the LA Times wrote about Prop 19. No effort was made to respond to the heartfelt and well reasoned arguments of its supporters. There's worse things than a little bit of temporary confusion, like calling people criminals because they prefer the safer alternative to alcohol, and not giving a damn about black market spawned violence. Liberty and justice for all be damned, says the LA Times. also Long Live the Drug Cartels! The LA Times knows perfectly well that alcohol is far more likely to kill than cannabis, so what is their problem?!

It is beyond belief that people who are commenting on this story are actually in support of this person. ... it is no wonder why this site is filled each week with people who are murdred in this great city.
