Thursday - Splitting a Large File
Use the command 'split' to break a large file into multiple smaller ones.
split -b5k big-file
will split big-file into multiple 5k byte files.
And:
split -l200 big-file split_
will split big-file into multiple 200-line files, and the generated filenames will be prefixed with 'split_'.
