Congratulations to the winning team and the President of UK Space Design Competition 2011

Well done to Amy Gregg, the teenage president of the winning team of this years’ UK Space Design Competition. Amy and 12 members of her team be travelling to the United States this Summer to take part in the international finals of this competition at NASA's Johnson Space Center. South Tyneside College learner Lyndsey Gustafson, aged 33 from North Shields, has joined the team responsible for the restoration of the famous Bluebird K7- a turbo jet engine hydroplane piloted by Donald Campbell in 1967.
