The new brand

The brand of the new Commerzbank - One name, one logo, one bank

A traditional brand has repositioned itself - the merger of Commerzbank and Dresdner Bank has created a new Commerzbank. The new brand incorporates the strengths of the two traditional brands and is a visual symbol of "Growing Together".

Commerzbank aims to be the "house bank" for private and corporate customers in Germany synonymous with long-term partnerships and outstanding service.

The launch of the new brand began in autumn 2009 with individual measures such as the new weather forecast advertisement and the perimeter advertising in football stadiums. The new brand was introduced nationwide in June 2010. In September 2010, Commerzbank successfully implemented its new brand identity. Around 1,600 branches and other buildings, including more than 700 former Dresdner Bank locations, now carry the new brand design. Since mid-June, all customers have been able to make use of basic services such as deposits or transfers at all bank branches. In addition, all online portals of the former Dresdner Bank have sported the new Commerzbank corporate design since mid-year.

Detailed information on the specific impact of the rebranding in the German branches and for your banking transactions in Germany can be found in the "Klartext" portal (German language).
