"Brilliant." That's the word Billboard recently used to describe "The Smile Sessions," the brand-new multi-disc version of the Beach Boys great once-lost classic that was released last week (it's available at iTunes and via TheBeachBoys.com as well). "It was quite a thrill," Brian Wilson said of the work that he and his fellow Beach Boys put into assembling from the 1966-67 sessions to include the album as it was originally intended as well as alternate version and outtakes. "It was quite a wonderful work of art, that album. We thought we were too far ahead of our time...I think people are going to love it. I really do."
Now, Billboard.com is not only giving you the opportunity to win the 2CD deluxe edition of "The Smile Sessions" -- the specific copy the winner will score will be signed by Brian Wilson! Not only that, the prize package also includes "Smile" on vinyl and a "Smile" t-shirt as well.
