A driver was injured Sunday when her vehicle collided with a streetcar in  South Lake Union and knocked the streetcar off its tracks, KOMO/4 reports.

The collision was reported about 10:22 a.m. at the intersection of Mercer Street and Westlake Avenue North, King County Metro spokeswoman Linda Thielke said.

The streetcar was knocked so far off the tracks that it didn't block other streetcars from passing through, so service was not interrupted, Thielke said.

No riders on the streetcar were injured, she said.
