  • Over the past year  David Guttenfelder, chief Associated Press photographer for Asia, had been granted unique access inside North Korea, a country usually only shown to the world via highly-staged photo ops. The photographer has been able to show the country in a more natural state. Even though he traveled with government minders, he was able to capture daily life in the closed society.
