Pfizer Public Policy: Patient & Prescription Assistance Programs

Pfizer invests heavily in research and development to discover new treatments that will alleviate suffering and give hope to patients around the world. But inventing medicines isn't enough if the people who need them can't get them. Pfizer believes that having a limited income should not limit access to medicines, so Pfizer is taking steps to improve access to prescription drugs.

Key Points

  • Pfizer, along with other drug companies, supports the broadest access possible to medicines.
  • Pfizer has established its own programs to help patients who need but cannot afford our drugs.

Pfizer and other pharmaceutical companies have established special programs to help ensure that patients on limited incomes and those without insurance can obtain needed drugs. Pfizer Helpful Answers® is a family of assistance programs for the uninsured and underinsured who need help getting Pfizer medicines. These programs provide Pfizer medicines for free or at a savings to patients who qualify. Some programs also offer reimbursement support services for people with insurance. For more information, see Pfizer Helpful Answers®.

Pfizer Helpful Answers is a joint program of Pfizer Inc and the Pfizer Patient Assistance Foundation.
