Primebar restaurant, a "modern day ale house" featuring food, beer and cocktails, will open in The Mayer Building, 342 N. Water St., in late spring.

This will be the fifth Primebar location for Restaurants America. The other locations are in Chicago, Minneapolis, Dallas and Wesley Chapel (Tampa), Fla. Restaurants America also developed the Bar Louie concept.

"We are very excited to be in the Third Ward across from the Public Market in a great building and space," says Roger Greenfield, president of Restaurants America.
