Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub is inside the Brewhouse Inn.

Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub opens today

Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub opens today at The Brewhouse Inn & Suites, 1215 N. 10th St.

Jackson's BRP has 13 beers on tap, mostly local along with a wide variety of bottled beers from around the globe. Additionally, Jackson's BRP has all types of liquors and will be featuring drinks of the day.

The restaurant also features a large outdoor beer garden which will be open during regular hours and will serve the restaurant's menu along with beverages.

On Friday evenings starting mid-June, the beer garden will host live acoustical music in the evenings, weather permitting.

The bar and restaurant, located on the first floor of The Brewhouse, features 24-foot ceilings inlayed with patterned tin designed to replicate the original. Original structural elements were also incorporated into the overall scheme.

The restaurant is available for private parties, holiday parties, wedding receptions and other types of events for up to 200 guests.

Operators Mark and Dan Zierath also own and operate Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub in Wauwatosa as well as Ella's in Brookfield. Zierath says the menu will evolve to keep guests "happy and interested."

Thanx AndrewJ....I like to hear real information such as you wrote. Just have to be sure to figure out which place I am going to if I need to meet friends at any of these places.

@olderwiser - There is. J&B;'s Blue Ribbon Bar & Grill. Jackson's would be your hipster equivalent to Blue Ribbon; pricey food, pricey beers. J&B;'s is more true to the brand/idea; quality food and beers, affordably priced.

Isnt't there a Blue Ribbon Pub in the former location of Long Wongs, around 51st and Bluemound? Seems like there are several BRPs around town now.
