4.0 out of 5 stars A useful tool to help your alignment June 20, 2013
Size Name:12-inch|Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
I got this putting mirror for my husband who is always complaining about his form! Like others have said, I like the concept of it. Golfers use mirrors and also videotape themselves, so they can analyze their form and shot. The SKLZ Putting Mirror is sturdy and does everything it claims--helps with club alignment and helps your stroke accuracy. As long as you keep your head over the ball during your shot, it will give you a good idea on how to improve your swing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Helped my Putting Skills June 13, 2013
Size Name:12-inch|Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
Ilike golf instruction aids and this one is a real winner. It has helped me grove my putting stroke and I have sliced some strokes off of each round due to my practice. It is light in weight and travels well. Great instructional tool.

3.0 out of 5 stars Provides Accurate Feedback with Alignment ~ May 29, 2013
Size Name:12-inch|Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
I have to agree with most of the reviews regarding the 12" version.
The longer 21" model would be a better choice.

That being said, this putting mirror does help with aligning my eyes over the ball.

I thought my alignment was spot on until setting up to the mirror.
Not so, I was about 2" inside my target line.

The pegs are helpful for "programming" your tempo.
Typically, I struggle with the 2' - 4' putts usually because of poor tempo,
getting the club too far back, and "decelerating".
Even this smaller 12" version mirror helped with that.

Considering the price I'm not convinced it is worth it.
One could say it will pay for itself by correcting your mistakes,
and making the one putt that wins the hole in a match.
Maybe... who knows?

4.0 out of 5 stars shows you where you're going wrong May 26, 2013
Size Name:12-inch|Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
Nothing like a little mirror to reflect the truth. It wasn't the wind that made you slice, it was your swing! And now, you can check it and correct it with this little baby! I like to take it to the driving range with my son. It helps him understand what he's really doing when he swings.

Me, I'd prefer the bigger model, I think. This is small and works well and if you keep your eye on the ball you'll see what you're doing. If your back swing is the problem, get the larger one.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not overly impressed. May 15, 2013
Size Name:12-inch|Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
I am not sure what I was expecting - I have played golf since the age of 6 and in high school started giving lessons. After a brief hiatus I picked the sport back up again and decided to spend more time on my putting. I was excited to be given the opportunity to try this product but unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. I find this no different than my old golf instructor placing a few tees and string on the putting green for me. In fact, this is based off of the same principle.

For this to work as planned, you have to be one of those people who stands with their head DIRECTLY over the ball when putting or the lines on the mirror won't work. Also if you really want to get this for someone - the 12 inch version is almost useless for working on your putting stroke.

I look at this as one of those products that executives will keep in their office and never use after their kid gives it to them for fathers day. The actual value of the item is no where near the price and you would be better served just spending more time on the putting green with a string tied between two tees and practicing your stroke.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, but length means limited usage May 14, 2013
Size Name:12-inch|Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
I've been practicing putting using the 12" mirror over the past few weeks. I really like the concept of this training aid - something to work on getting a squared clubface upon impact. I generally have an issue with pulling my putts and this has helped me keep a true line. However, I would really suggest the 21" version. The 12" is too short to really work on a full putting stroke. I feel like it is better for aligning your address of the ball (which is also important). Also what would have improved it is a simple paper insert describing some of the various exercises and drills you can do with a putting mirror. It comes with rubber pegs, but those are hard to get into the holes and are easily dislodged. If you are practicing on an actual putting green (instead of a practice mat), it is much better to just use tees. What I wish it would include instead of the rubber pegs, is tees, but with a completely flat head. That way, you can push the tees in from the top while on a real green, or flip the tee over and push it up through the bottom when on an artificial green or mat (the flat head will keep it flush with the ground). I don't know, maybe it will be flush enough just using regular tees that way.

Overall, a good device, concept, and training aid. But the 21" version would be much more functional.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not much help so far May 13, 2013
Size Name:12-inch|Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
This is my first putting trainer. I have used trainer clubs for my irons and a driver, but I have not paid attention to any putting trainers. Basically, the SKLZ putting mirror is a mirror with a line printed on top. You can put 8 pegs provided on top of it to guide your swing. I have used it occasionally for a month, but, to be honest, I have not had much improvement in my putting. You can see your shoulder and head and can line up your impact with pegs, but that's pretty much about the usage of this 12 inch mirror.

I wish the SKLZ 12inch comes with cleaning cloth and a small ziploc type vinyl bag to store 8 pegs. A nice carrying case was a plus. I might have to use it few more month to see if it really helps my putting or not.
