The folks in Wauwatosa know how to throw a party.

For proof, we offer HartFest – a free festival that begins its two-day run on June 14 and features scrumptious local treats, beer, music, a softball tournament and a 5K / two-mile run/walk.

Where: Hart Park in Wauwatosa

Hours: 5 to 11 p.m. Friday; noon to 11 p.m. Saturday.

Admission: Free.

Entertainment: The Friday music lineup consists of Eagle Trace from 5 to 7:15 p.m., followed by The Toys from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday kicks off with Big Noise at 1 p.m., followed by Highfield Drive at 4:30 p.m. and finishing up with Rebel Grace at 8 p.m.
