42nd National Conference - Queenstown

The 42nd National Conference of the ANC was held in Queenstown from 18 - 20 December 1953, one of the towns not included in Chief Luthuli's ban. The terms of the ban, however, made it necessary to restrict the audience for his presidential address to ANC members at a closed session.
