All links are provided in good faith, but the author and hosts of LookAndRead.fsnet.co.uk accept no responsibility for the content or activities of external sites.

These links were last verified on October 21st, 2000: One is bad, but I'll leave it up anyway in case it sorts itself out... :)

BBC Education: Look and Read
HTTP://WWW.BBC.CO.UK/EDUCATION/LOOKANDREAD/
The BBC's official website for Look and Read, featuring a whole package of interactive, award-winning Shockwave exercises for the story Spywatch. There's also a preview (complete with spelling errors) of the forthcoming minisite for Word Master, which should launch in "Spring 2001".

The Look and Read Page
HTTP://WWW.TREMBIRTH.DEMON.CO.UK/LOOKREAD.HTM
The original, and proper, Look and Read fan site on the internet is currently in its prime, with ever-expanding commentaries, descriptions and nice colour pictures from most of the stories from across the years. If you're looking for a nicely nostalgic look at the show, GO HERE NOW! Reading this site inspired me to make this one in the first place. Includes the theme from The Boy From Space.
There are links to the separate story pages at this site throughout LookAndRead.fsnet.co.uk.

Look and Read .cjb.net
HTTP://LOOKANDREAD.CJB.NET
Brand new fan site launched in January 2001. The focus is on multimedia, with video downloads, picture galleries, music and covers for video cassettes. There's also a link to the author's Look and Read dubsite (check it out for further info).

TV Chronicles
HTTP://WWW.TVCHRONICLES.COM/KIDSTVL.HTM#LOOK AND READ
This huge, fact-based site gives outline coverage of all the stories (in association with lookandread.fsnet.co.uk) and a little more detail on The Boy From Space, Spywatch and The Legend of the Lost Keys separately. I have used some of their info in some of the story pages here (fully credited, of course).

TV Cream
HTTP://TV.CREAM.ORG/ARKL2.HTM
Part of the massive nostalga site. Concentrates on the 70s and very early 80s bits of the show and goes through those stories. Includes the theme from Badger Girl. You have to scroll down from the link above, or for the proper framed version go to TV.CREAM.ORG and click 'L'.

The Novels
Most of the stories since the late 80s have been released as novelisations. Below are links for Amazon and the BBC Shop. They're cheaper from Amazon, but the BBC generally claim to have them in stock. Note that the BBC Shop links will be out of the frameset.
Earthwarp
HTTP://WWW.BBCSHOP.COM/BBC_SHOP/PRODUCT.ASP?SHOP=BBC&PF;_ID=0563354011
WHEN LAST CHECKED, THIS LINK WAS BROKEN. BUT IT'S THE BBC SHOP'S FAULT, NOT MINE, COS WHEN YOU SEARCH THEIR SITE IT COMES UP WITH THE SAME URL ANYWAY.
Geordie Racer
HTTP://WWW.AMAZON.CO.UK/EXEC/OBIDOS/ASIN/0563347708/
HTTP://WWW.BBCSHOP.COM/BBC_SHOP/PRODUCT.ASP?SHOP=BBC&PF;_ID=1566
The Legend of the Lost Keys
HTTP://WWW.AMAZON.CO.UK/EXEC/OBIDOS/ASIN/0563460482/
HTTP://WWW.BBCSHOP.COM/BBC_SHOP/PRODUCT.ASP?SHOP=BBC&PF;_ID=0563460482
Sky Hunter
HTTP://WWW.AMAZON.CO.UK/EXEC/OBIDOS/ASIN/0563347724/
Through the Dragon's Eye
HTTP://WWW.AMAZON.CO.UK/EXEC/OBIDOS/ASIN/0563347716/
A from-memory season-by-season story list was posted to the century mailing list a while ago, and should still be accessible via mail-archive.com.

IMDb links for Look and Read actors, writers and producers are featured in the story pages.
There are also various links to smaller individual pages about the separate stories in this section of the site.

These are all of the websites I know of covering Look and Read. If you know of any others, please let me know by email to ben@lookandread.fsnet.co.uk.
