Cleveland Orchestra Program Notes Index

Welcome to The Cleveland Institute of Music Library's Index to Cleveland Orchestra Program Notes. The index currently includes the seasons 1972-1973 through 1995-1996. It is being compiled from the library's collection of program notes (1920- ), and that work continues. While it is intended primarily as a finding aid for that collection, we have also taken the broader view that it may be of use to those studying repertoire of the Cleveland Orchestra, and of American orchestras in general. We have therefore made it searchable by a variety of fields not directly related to finding notes on a given work. We have endeavored to match names and titles to U.S. library standards, but there are some important exceptions.

Please note that the CIM Library is a private library, and is not open to the public. You may request copies of specific program notes through Interlibrary Loan from your local library. We welcome your comments on this database.
