A new HIV support group, for gay and bisexual men who are HIV positive, will be launched @ 14h30, Saturday 27 May, @ our premises in Mowbray. Come along and meet others, get necessary information on topical issues, exchange ideas and get support in a safe, supportive and confidential environment.

A new support group for people experiencing conflict between religion and their sexuality, open to men and women from all religions, will commence in June. Explore what Islam, Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism have to say about our sexuality and gain greater insight into the interface between your sexual orientation and your religious belief system.

Two new support groups, for gay moms and gay dads respectively, will address issues relevant to parenting, co-parenting and step-parenting. Meet other moms and dads, explore issues and share ideas. These groups will commence as soon as we have sufficient members so apply now and let’s get these groups rolling!

Our Sexual Addictions Support Group for gay men will be activated again as soon as we have enough guys wanting to join the group – apply now!

We’ll be running the support group for deaf gays and lesbians again, commencing in June. Meetings are conducted using sign language, facilitated by a gay social worker.

GABYS, our support group for young and bisexual men aged under 25, has been terminated. A new support group for gay and bisexual men aged under 25 will commence in August. Apply now to join this funky, dynamic group that will chat about everything under the sun related to being gay or bi, facilitated by a male psychologist.

The Gay Men’s Support Group, for guys aged over 24, will run again during the second half of the year. Until then, previous members of the group organise regular social meetings which are open to all gay or lesbian people. For info on these social events please call Heather on 448 3812.

Our Transgender Support Group continues to meet on a monthly basis. Join this stimulating and confidential group to explore your identity, learn more about various options available to you and share experiences with others.
