Our Clinic and Our People

Patty Harris-Herdener, L.M.T. is our massage therapist. Patty provides massage therapy to increase the health of the body's cells. The individual cells of the body are dependent on an abundant supply of blood and lymph because these fluids supply nutrients and oxygen and carry away wastes and toxins. Massage is known to increase the circulation of blood and flow of lymph. The direct mechanical effect of rhythmically applied manual pressure, the stimulation of nerve receptors, and the movement used in massage can dramatically increase the rate of blood flow, increasing circulation and thereby promoting health.

Charma Vaage is our receptionist. She is happy to answer your questions regarding our work and practice. We have been in the forefront of naturopathy in Oregon and we feel an important part of our work is to educate the public about the effectiveness and safety of naturopathic medicine. Feel free to come by our office to learn more about our services or call us at 503-434-6170.
Kelsey Eastman runs our naturopathic dispensary. Herdener Family Clinic provides a naturopathic dispensary offering the best quality and potency natural nutritional, homeopathic, and botanical remedies for patients’ convenience and safety. Dr. Herdener has found there is great variation in product quality and efficacy that are sold to health food stores and other retail outlets. To assure the quality and effectiveness of the products we prescribe and dispense, we ask that products from our manufacturers to provide certificates of analysis from an independent laboratory certifying each product is the strength and potency indicated on the label, non-rancid, and free of contaminants, including heavy metals and infectious agents. This is the standard required for pharmacological quality assurance.

Herdener Family Clinic works with Health Coach to develop a unique personalized health assessment and individualized supplement program for the best nutritional foundational support available. Here we take a unique look at each individual's supplementation needs based on a very thorough scientific assessment of key factors such as personal and family history, lifestyle factors, and medications (very important safety issue to prevent harmful interactions).
