Testimony of Kelli Hartley

My name is Kelli Hartley. I was born in Montana, and have lived there all my life. I went to the public school for most of my education. In about 8th grade, I started hanging around with the wrong crowd - those who partied, swore and did many other sinful things. By the time I was in the 10th grade, I was skipping school all of the time, and not listening to a thing my parents told me. The devil had full reins on my life. Then the Lord intervened the very beginning of my junior year of high school. My pastor and parents brought me to Hephzibah House.

I was very resentful and bitter to everyone. I made a false profession of faith in February after I had been at Hephzibah for about 5 months. For a long time, I was struggling with the doubt of if I was saved or not. Then on April 29, 1996, I was absolutely miserable. I went and talked to Pastor Williams and accepted the Lord Jesus as my personal Saviour. After that, I knew I had done a lot of wrong that needed confessing to the Lord and others. The Lord and everyone else very graciously forgave me. I left Hephzibah House in May of 1996 to go and live with my family. I am so very thankful and grateful to those who had a part in my life being totally changed through Jesus Christ.

About a year after I returned home, I was happily married to a wonderful man who loves the Lord and tries his very best to be a good husband and father. We have a wonderful relationship, and the Lord has blessed us with 2 beautiful children, and 1 more on the way. We plan to have as many more children as the Lord gives us. The Lord has blessed me more than I could ever imagine. He is so good.
