Due to the busy schedules of the Quill and Kiss staff, new stories/submissions will not undergo a beta reading process once they are approved so we can avoid a very long beta queue. It's not fair to keep a very good story in our queue and not let you enjoy them at once.
However this is only temporary.
Once we have enough beta readers, all stories of new and old authors will have to go through a beta process with a Quill and Kiss staff. New authors will be assigned new betas
To our old authors, you may still continue working with your betas in your stories.
With that said, we're still looking for betas. For those of you who are interested, leave a comment here. Thanks!

Happy Holidays, everyone!
Because it seems like all of the staff members of Quill and Kiss have been very busy this past year, there have been a huge number of backlog in our validation queue. If you have stories for approval and for beta, I ask for your patience. We'll try to have everything up as soon as we can.
We're still looking for new beta readers for the site. If you are interested to become a beta reader, fill out the application form in the HGForever LJ community.

There is a new trend where spam robots are leaving inappropriate reviews or inappropriate links to our authors. I would like to sincerely apologize for the trouble that this is causing to some of you. Be confident that I’m doing my best to delete them and ban the users from the site. If you were left an inappropriate review please contact me at GilyAnn[at]hgforever[dot]com.
We are still looking for some beta readers. If you are interested in our beta team, please contact Alcarcalime for a beta application.
Some of you are still waiting for your stories to be validated. My humble apologies for the wait, all of us in the team have been very busy; we are working on getting up to date. If you have any questions about the status of your story drop me an email.
We have been working in a few ideas for a new challenge but we would like to hear some of your ideas too. Since Christmas is near we would like to hear some of your ideas or challenges for our authors. Send me your ideas at the email listed above and let me know to whom should I credit the idea.

On August 11, 2005, HGForever re-opened its fan fiction portal in honor of the youngest and our favorite Weasley's birthday. And now, one year later, despite the hurdles that came along, Quill and Kiss is still up and running, still providing you with excellent fan fictions to satisfy our craving and love for everything Harry/Ginny. In behalf of Bluemagic and GilyAnn, I'd like to thank our beta readers, authors, members, and guests for helping Quill and Kiss get to where it is today. We would not have done it without all of you! We vow to keep on giving you quality H/G fan fictions for the years to come. Again, thank you!

Hallo H/Gers!
Just to let you know that I'm 90% through regarding the upgrade process. We are now using version 2.07. There are still some testings to do and few files I need to modify. Sorry for the delays but we need to attend first to our server issues. Yes! HGF has a new home now.:-)
Hopefully, the Archive will be back in full swing within the week.

Please be reminded that ALL SUBMISSIONS ARE CLOSED. We will not be reviewing the new stories until we have re-opened the submissions.
The archive has encountered a problem last week (some of you might have noticed that the new chapter of Fire's Quest for Freedom and deenas's new story Future Plans have suddenly disappeared), and while we aren't done checking what went wrong, we won't be accepting new fics in case the same problem occurs.
I hope you all understand.
To those who have submitted new fics, please be patient. We will start reviewing the new submissions after we're done checking the site.

HGForever is currently having server problems that is why the site was down for some time. The HGF forum, The Journey to Forever , is also undergoing a script upgrade and is not available at the moment.
To those who have stories for approval and waiting for beta, please be patient. We are temporarily handicapped while the forum is being upgraded. It is one of our major means of communication.

Hallo HGers! The new upgraded site is behaving well and I think, there is no reason for me to postone the opening of submissions. Ok! it is now official.:-) Thank you for your patience. To those who registered between April 4- April 7 and having the hard time to activate their accounts, please make it sure that you are accessing this url. There is something in the configuration that I forgot to change and you are being directed to our quillandkiss-trial archive. Sorry about that. Hallo HGers! The upgrade process is doing great even though during the procedure, somebody emptied my configuration data. :-( But everything has been taken care of.~wink~ Script wise, it is 100% complete but I keep adding modifications so I'm still doing constant round check if everything is behaving smoothly. Please give me a day or two before I will open again the submissions. For now, enjoy the new improved HGF's Written with a Quill, Sealed with a Kiss Fanfiction Portal:smile: There are a lot of changes, new features and stuffs added. To maximize your H/G web experience, you need to be a registered member of this arhcive. I suggest that if you are a member of HGF Community or the The Journey to Forever Forum, please register under the same username and password. It can be that in the near future, I will intergrate everything. Thank you, Alcarcalime for creating 2 excellent headers which I proudly used in distracting and lake skins. As the Valentine's day is fast approaching, it is the perfect time of the year to spread H/G love to one another and to strengthen our friendship and bonding as Harry/Ginny supporters. Remember, it's our favorite pair, Harry/Ginny, the canon ship, who brought us all together. We are inviting you to join the "Mystical Soul" Valentine Celebration, HGF Style.
What is this all about?
The party is meant to spoil and pamper all the attendees starting February 8-17, 2006. HGF members who are attending the party are willing to send something (an e-mail, e-card, poem, jokes or adoption) to each other every couple of days or more frequently if time permits.
On February 17, 2006, our revalation day, there will be a Special Valentine Thread created on our HGF Forum to post your final message to your spoilee and let them know who you are.
How to join:
- This is open to all HGF Community members.
- Please copy and paste the following into your email and/or PM and answer them.
Your HGF username:
Your email address:
Your hidden identity: (This is the name I'm going to refer to your Mystical Soul partner)
Your temporary email address: If you are using an email address that reveals somehow your true identity, we suggest that you get an email address that excludes your real name or HGF username preferably from yahoo, msn or another free server whatever is easiest for you. If not, you can just use your registered email address.
- Send an email to bluemagic with "HGF Mystical Soul Valentine" as Subject Line. Please use your member name and email address you used when you've registered. It is also possible to send it also through PM to bluemagic if you are already a member of the board.
- You will receive an email and/or PM indicating your Mystical Soul partner and you may start pampering him/her.
- The deadline of joining is on February 7, 2006.
There are various locations on the web where you can browse and find e-cards, poems, gifts, jokes and adoptions. If you have a problem locating these places, simply send me an email and I will gladly send your needed informations.

Welcome to HGForever’s Quill and Kiss and HBP_Ficafest’s joint challenge.
The challenge will run from 17th October–30th November.
All challenges are Harry/Ginny-centric and range from PG–NC-17; please clearly state rating when posting your fic(s).
NO FLAMING—be respectful when reviewing fics.
If posting directly onto Quill and Kiss, please post the link of the story in the HBP_Ficafest community. Challenge entries will not go through Quill and Kiss’s formal beta reading process, but be sure that they had gone through your own beta reader(s). The Quill and Kiss administrators can still reject challenge entries if they do not adhere to the Submission Guidelines (e.g. rating, ship preference). These fics, however, can still be posted at the HBP_Ficafest community. Quill and Kiss’s Submission Guidelines can be found here.
Also, post them under the proper category: HGF Specials - The Golden Quill - Quill and Kiss/HBP Ficafest Joint Challenge
G–R stories (Quill and Kiss rated "E" to "M") are accepted in both sites. However, all NC-17 stories (Quill and Kiss rated "A") go directly into the HBP_Ficafest community.

Wishing to receive notification when your favorite story has been updated? Rejoice! I've finally managed to add this cool feature . Whew!
For you to fully enjoy this new add on, simply add the fic to your favorites and you'll receive the notification update as long as you have a *valid* email address.
Please be informed that the script never displays your email address publicly and it is only visible to you and the admins.

Submissions for La Pluma Dorada, Quill and Kiss category for Spanish fics, is closed temporarily closed. Because of an RL concern, GilyAnn will be unavailable for the next few weeks and wouldn't be able to handle the submissions.
Those who have already submitted their stories, we ask for your patience. The fics are already accepted and are with GilyAnn for beta reading.
Submissions will be reopened in three weeks.

Hello H/Gers!
Written with a Quill, Sealed with a Kiss is finally here. We officially re-open our Fanfiction Portal here at HGforever.com in time of our favorite red-haired girl's birthday named Ginny Weasley.
Everyone is invited to share their Harry/Ginny love and stories with us. But please don't miss to read the new Submission Policies first before doing so.
There are some changes made here and there so please take time to browse the site.
All authors who have their stories posted in our old archive are already members here. Please drop me a note concerning your membership status.
Frozen stories in our old archive are not uploaded here anymore. If the authors wish to continue and finish their stories, they need to re-submit them.
To those who've sent their stories to me via email, I'm requesting you to simply register here and re-submit them also.
HGF community membership is different from Quill and Kiss membership since it is using different script. While you can read and review the stories here anonymously, registration is required if you wish to submit a story. Thank you very much.
