Greatest Games

As part of the club's centenary celebrations, the official website has joined forces with the Valley Review to count down the 20 greatest games in the history of Charlton Athletic.

At every home match supporters will be able to turn to the centre of the matchday programme and relive the most thrilling, exciting, dramatic and important matches of the last 100 years.

Addicks legends will be on hand to give their views on the greatest games, both on what it meant at the time and the significance of the fixtures in hindsight.

And then supporters can turn to the Charlton website, and have their own say about the matches selected.

Each momentous match will be summarised on the website.

And as the countdown continues throughout the season, fans will be able to see where their favourite fixture ranks on the all-time list.

The all-time greatest game will be unveiled in the Valley Review when the Addicks entertain Crystal Palace on May 14th, 2004 in the final match of the season.

Until then, fans will just have to keep reading the matchday programme and checking out the website as the countdown unravels.
