Valley Gold

Valley Gold enables fans to support the club in unearthing the talents of tomorrow - as well as giving them the chance to scoop up to £15,000 in regular cash prizes.

The matchday draw scheme was originally set up in 1989 to help finance the return to The Valley. Since then, the club's youth set-up has benefited from the money it has raised.

By supporting Valley Gold, you are making a vital contribution to the development of our first-team players of the future - Steve Gritt, Youth Academy Manager

The committee of Charlton Club, the organisation that runs Valley Gold and the recently re-launched Jackpot Tickets, was formerly reconstituted in January 2003.

Membership has risen by nearly a third and the committee is closing fast on its initial target of 2,000 members, the largest number the scheme has ever had.

For an annual subscription of £120 - which can be paid monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly and by standing order, cheque or cash - members are entered into 21 cash draws a year.

As well as two summer draws with a single £500 prize for each, draws take place at each of the 19 Premiership games at The Valley.

For 16 of the matches, there is a first prize of £750, a second prize of £350 and a third of £150.

Special draws take place at the first home game of the season for £5000 and at a Christmas game for £10,000, while there is a £15,000 first prize at the final home match.

A second prize of £1000 and a third prize of £500 is drawn on each of these three occasions.
