A&E; was sued by the owner of the film "It Conquered the World" over the use of the trailer for this film in an episode of "Biography". In a recent case decided in a U.S. District Court, a summary judgement held that excerpts of trailers CAN be used under the "fair use" doctrine. This is a copy of that judgement:
