On
15 August 2008, Air-COM Ramstein, General Roger A. Brady, USA AF; nominated
Adjudant van der Logt as the new CC-Air Ramstein Senior Non-Commissioned Officer
(SNCO). Adjudant
van der Logt joined the Netherlands Air Force as a soldier in the Force
Protection (FP) corps in 1974 and was admitted to the NCO Academy in the
Netherlands in 1978. After graduating from the academy in 1980, he was assigned
to 12 Missile Group NIKE of 118 Squadron in Hesepe, Germany, where he was last
employed as squadron administrator.
In 1987 he was assigned to the
multinational Joint System Centre EIFEL Birkenfeld, Germany, as a Crypto
operator and a system administrator. Reassigned to the NLD Ministry of Defence
at The Hague in 1992, Adjudant van der Logt was the deputy head of Internal
Affairs. In 1994 he was posted to Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of the
Netherlands to the United Nations in New York as an assistant military advisor
for peacekeeping operations with NLD participation.
Returning to Europe in 2001
Adjudant van der Logt was assigned to NATO’s AIRNORTH Headquarters at Ramstein,
Germany, as an administrative supervisor in the Operations Division and front
office manager of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations. In 2004 he was
assigned to the personal staff of NLD Chief of Defence at The Hague acting as
Head General Affairs and responsible for security matters.
In December 2007 he was assigned
to NATO’s CC-Air HQ RAMSTEIN as an administrative supervisor with the Tactical
Evaluation Division. In August 2008 Adjudant van der Logt assumed his new
position of CC-Air Ramstein SNCO, which is the equivalent to the Army’s Command
Sergeant Major.
Adjudant Tim van der Logt and
his wife Annemarie have two sons.
Tim van der Logt’s
hobbies include tennis and travelling. He is the chairman of the NLD NCO
community at Ramstein.
