Important note: This WHO Essential Medicines Web Library is currently based on the 15th WHO Model List of Essential Medicines. It is primarily intended for national, hospital and institutional essential medicines selection committees. Use by prescribers or consumers is not recommended.

The medicines include links to references and to WHO clinical guidelines where they exist, as well as to the WHO Model Formulary and to other relevant sites.
