Last fall was a season to a remember for Penn State. Not that it is easy to forget one of the most successful seasons in school history.

This season, with the Penn State field hockey team losing only one starter to graduation, Char Morett wants another chance. And this year, it looks as if she's going to get that opportunity.

Of Penn State's coaches who do not coach football or are known by the name of JoePa, which Penn State coach has the longest tenure?

Following an eighth-place finish in coach Beth Alford-Sullivan's rookie season in the Big Ten, the women's cross country team hopes to finish higher in the standings in the 2000 campaign.

Following a season in which the Penn State women's tennis team finished 10th in Big Ten play, second-year coach Buffy Baker said she hopes to permeate a winning attitude among the Lady Lions.

A new season means new beginnings for the Penn State men's tennis team. After struggling through last season, the injury-riddled Nittany Lions are optimistic for the upcoming season.

It is another season for the Penn State women's golf team and the story remains the same -- expectations are lofty.
