According to the preliminary data, sixteen individuals died and over one hundred were injured in a crash of the MD-87 passenger plane of the Scandinavian airlines (SAS) on Monday at Milan's Linate airport. A small sports plane aboard the MD-87 did not let the aircraft take off. The plane fell. After an explosion inside the plane, it caught fire.

KURSK "LIFTED"
The Kursk nuclear submarine has been lifted from the Barents Sea. At the moment, Gigant barge’s hoists have lifted the submarine at a height of 20 meters and work is being continued. Today, it is expected that the Kursk will be fastened to the barge's bottom and afterwords, tugboats will arrive to the site and begin to transport the barge and submarine to the dock.
