RUSSIAN MILITARY DELEGATION TO TRAVEL TO U.S. AUGUST 7-8 TO FOLLOW UP ON GENOA AGREEMENTS

Building on the agreements the Presidents of Russia and the US reached in Genoa, a Russian military delegation will travel to the US on August 7-8, under Yuri Baluyevsky, First Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, said Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov Tuesday.
The Russian delegation's agenda in the US will feature talks on offensive and defensive weapons.
Ivanov said US Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld will travel to Moscow on August 13-14 to follow up on the negotiations.
