Susan's professional and personal life was in thrust into turmoil on Friday's show when Libby confessed to sleeping with one of her students.
As a long-serving teacher and previous Principal at Erinsborough High, Susan is shattered when she hears that Libby broke the cardinal rule of all teachers.
Jackie Woodburne who plays Susan Kennedy explains,
"For Libby to sleep with a student was probably about the worst thing that a teacher can do," she said. "There's a real obligation of duty and care to look after your students, so what she did completely crossed every barrier."
Apart from the professional ramifications of Libby's actions, Susan is also concerned about Libby's personal welfare.
"While Susan is concerned about Libby's mental state and well being," Jackie explained. "She would have been very distressed by Libby breaking the rules, because it could mean the end of her job, the end of her career. She's a single mother with a child and her path is difficult enough and to complicate it like that she would have been very concerned of the long-term repercussions."
Get ready for an action packed week where Libby will fully realise the consequences of her actions.
