Each year we employ approximately twelve research assistants for one or two year appointments, beginning any time between July 1 and Labor Day. Recruitment for these positions usually begins in early January. Qualifications: B.A. in economics or math, or a social science with a minor in economics or math; experience in econometrics, computers or statistics.
We will post application materials in January 2008 for jobs beginning in summer 2008.
Occasionally, Economic Studies hires other research assistants outside the normal recruiting cycle. Those positions will be listed below as needed.
